Data
FPGA.camp data policy
The board catalog and knowledge base separate facts from evaluation. Board specs, prices, availability, pinout, constraints, toolchains, and known limitations keep available source links, verification dates, and confidence levels.
Licensing
- Factual catalog records are published as CC BY 4.0 unless a record states a more permissive license.
- Knowledge-base articles are published as CC BY 4.0 unless the author and editors choose another compatible mode.
- Platform code is licensed separately under the project license.
- External datasets may be imported with attribution, preserved provenance, and known license information.
Sources
- Official manufacturer documentation has priority over secondary sources.
- Marketplace price is accepted only as a price observation, not as a price or stock guarantee.
- An open-source repository can support constraints or examples only for a specific board revision and project.
- Unverified pinout and constraint data is not published as truth.
Confidence
- 5: official source and editorial verification.
- 4: official source and incomplete independent verification.
- 3: good open-source source or several secondary sources.
- 2: incomplete record, needs verification.
- 1: user submission without enough sources.
- 0: do not publish.
Contribution privacy
The contribution form stores technical descriptions and source links. Contributor names or other personal data are stored only with explicit consent. FPGA.camp does not collect personal data from members of external communities.
RAG and fpga.chat
The fpga.chat export contains public technical records, sources, verification dates, confidence levels, and graph links only. Contributor personal data and external community member data are not included in RAG output.
