Account terms

These terms keep Chat, editorial review, and user submissions useful for the FPGA community. An account unlocks Chat beyond the anonymous limit and lets you submit news, articles, projects, jobs, and meetups for moderation.

What you can do

  • Ask FpgaCampBot practical questions about FPGA, RTL, tools, and bring-up.
  • Submit material with a verifiable source link or repository.
  • Share your own projects, jobs, and meetups when the facts can be checked.
  • Work with editors to correct submitted material when review finds issues.

What is not allowed

  • Invented news, events, jobs, board specifications, or prices.
  • Other people's personal data, private documents, access keys, or trade secrets.
  • Hardware instructions that can damage equipment without power, IO, and constraints checks.
  • Unsourced factual claims about companies, products, or events.

Moderation

Every user submission is created as a draft first. An administrator receives a notification, checks the source, link, and substance, then publishes, requests changes, or rejects the draft.

Chat

FpgaCampBot helps with engineering questions, but it does not replace board documentation, datasheets, constraints, or measurements. Before wiring or programming hardware, always verify power rails, IO levels, pinout, and project constraints.
