Pmod connectors

Pmod is a small expansion connector ecosystem; verify voltage, pin mapping and peripheral protocol before attaching modules.

Use Pmods as controlled bring-up targets. Before wiring, check board bank voltage, Pmod module voltage, connector orientation and constraints. For SPI/I2C Pmods, simulate the controller before using hardware.

Boards: digilent/arty-a7, digilent/basys-3, icebreaker/icebreaker
Chips: none
Toolchains: none
Protocols: spi, i2c, uart, gpio
Pitfalls: Pmod-compatible physical connector does not prove voltage compatibility.
